Well, this weekend was the long awaited Nursery World Awards! It was a fabulous event and we were delighted to be recognised in such a large industry such as the early years to be one of the industry leaders.
‘Wouldn’t we all secretly like to be Little Forest Folk?' We are incredibly excited and proud to be included once again in the prestigious annual Tatler Nurseries Guide.
Fireworks and bonfires have been the talk of the forest this week! The children have been so excited to talk about the fireworks they have seen and we have even found ways of creating our own firework displays in the forest.

We’ve had such an amazing week in the forest this October half term! It’s been action-packed with lots of bulb planting for spring and plenty of adventure walks and spooky delights as we geared up for Halloween on Thursday!
With autumn blazing all around us, our beautiful, huge, plane tree is dressed gloriously in golden yellow, auburn and strawberry brown. We have delighted in catching leaves, exploring our natural world, finding insects and seeds and leaf patterns
What an enchanting and constructive week we have had in Wimbledon Village! We were so pleased to welcome back familiar faces on our holiday camps, with many siblings and friends from previous holidays returning to play.
Another great week has passed in the forest! The weather has been absolutely wonderful, and we have all enjoyed lots of sunshine in our camps and on our walks. Here are a few highlights from our week.
We’ve been blessed with the most perfect weather this week, lovely and mild with plenty of sunshine. The mornings have been glorious and we’ve been feeling extra grateful for our access to the palace grounds/flower garden which have been visited daily on our autumn adventures.
This week in the forest we’ve been exploring all the loose parts around us and letting our creativity flow. Magic is in the air with Halloween next week so on Monday we went on an otherworldly adventure walk with Charlotte and Kitz!
This week, our theme has been vocations, and we've been diving into the world of different occupations and exploring what each job entails in everyday life.
It’s been a magical and vibrant week in the Forest as the children explored the wonders of autumn and immersed themselves in Halloween-themed activities.
Everything has been getting very spooky in the forest this week! With Halloween on the horizon the children have been very excited by the various fun activities.
Fortunately, the rain has stayed mostly at bay this week and we saw some sunshine, which created a lovely setting for a week full of energy and fun in the forest! 😋
Happy 8th birthday Little Forest Folk Fulham! 🍂🐌 What a wonderful year we’ve had in the forest; we are so grateful to experience another year in such a wonderful setting with the best little ones, supporting their connection with the great outdoors.
This week, our focus on life skills has taken us on some exciting and practical learning journeys! We kicked off with a litter-picking adventure, where we learned all about the importance of keeping our environment clean.
