This week in Wimbledon, as well as some more lovely weather, we have been welcomed by lots of new faces! Whether these faces be holiday campers or new forest friends, we have welcomed them all with warm arms! We have enjoyed supporting them not only during their play but also during our walk-ins and outs and offering them a hand to hold to show them the way.
Chiswick - Shadow Painting!
🌳 This week at Little Forest Folk, our little adventurers had a fantastic time using tools and bamboo to craft their very own stick men! The children were so attentive as they listened carefully to instructions and learned how to use the tools responsibly. It was amazing to see how focused and careful they were, ensuring safety while letting their creativity shine. The stick men they created were unique and full of character! 🌳

The children eagerly honed their construction skills by building rope ladders and dens around camp. They loved swinging through the trees and creating cosy homes under fallen logs.

This week, we have embraced the warm weather by exploring ice play! One super fun activity explored how long it took for ice to melt in different parts of the forest; we placed the ice in sunny and shady areas around camp and then watched and waited…it took a small ice cube 4 minutes and 54 seconds!
