The Wimbledon forest has been alive with laughter, imagination and science experiments this week.

As adults we look out into our muddy forest and see this as a challenge. Well not our children, the more mud the more fun! Mud is amazing to squish in, add to imaginative food play and even to slide on. If kids are warm enough and stay dry under their waterproofs, there is just no stopping the fun.

No matter how long we are away from the forest there is always something new to notice when we arrive back in, and after our Christmas break, we had lots to look at!

This week there has been fewer children in the forest, but this does not stop the excitement and enthusiasm across our base camp.
