As our holiday camps come to an end, we have been taking a moment to appreciate just what a wonderful group of children we have had joining us over the summer holidays. Many returning faces and some new ones too, all coming together and making the most of their time spent at camp by sharing their ideas, telling stories, and forming some lovely friendships in the process.
Morden - Our Forest Bakery!
Another lovely week of exploring and creating at Morden! The children have been so wonderful as the educators have been helping the newest children arrive in the forest; they have been welcoming and patient, showing the new children all the fun things we have on offer to play with, and sharing our fun with new friends!
Putney Heath - New friends and new adventures
We ended a brilliant week making some wonderful creations using the junk modelling resources. Using cardboard boxes, toilet tubes, lids and other recycled objects, the children worked together to build a rocket. They even added red and yellow tissue paper to the back to create some fierce fire to help the rocket fly.
Twickenham - transition from forest to classroom
As the summer holidays draw to a close, we have had a bittersweet week in the forest. We have been very excited to meet some new friends and introduce them to our wonderful environment. However, we have also bid a fond farewell to many old friends who are now making the transition from forest to classroom.

Morden - creating our bug village
Putney Heath - A week of B’s: Blackberries, boats, bubble wands...
We ended a fantastically creative week with some incredible rain, which of course provided us with some perfect puddles for us to jump in. The children had great fun running around the forest and the cricket pitch finding different puddles for them all to jump in and together we noticed that some puddles were bubbling.
Twickenham - arts and craft activities
Wandsworth - dinosaurs that roared with glee
This week saw the creation of one of the best dinosaur dioramas we have ever seen, using entirely natural materials. We particularly enjoyed seeing how a team of around six children of all ages played so well together, communicating ideas, and sharing resources in a way that amplified fun and engagement for all.
