We’ve been bursting with excitement and now that it’s the Queen’s birthday and the official announcement day, we are absolutely delighted to finally share with you the news that Little Forest Folk has been given the royal seal of approval.

Well, this weekend was the long awaited Nursery World Awards! It was a fabulous event and we were delighted to be recognised in such a large industry such as the early years to be one of the industry leaders.

The children ended last week continuing to enjoy the pungent potion making using different herbs, food colouring and water to concoct some magical mixtures.
“I want to be the first person to fly. With wings!” said one of our children last week. Dreaming big is one of the most charming things about being young.

Putney Heath Little Forest Folk have had a magical week with week two of the Easter Holidays, inviting more wonderful adventurers into our camp to explore the wonders of the treasures in our forest.
A wise man once said, "Spring is nature's way of saying, 'Let's Party!’ ". With the flowers blooming, the bunnies hopping, our Little Forest Folk-ers and Holiday Campers got the party started and it's been another fun filled week in the forest.
There is a feeling of happiness in our forest that radiates from the children who join us. There is constant laughter, infectious smiles and wild imaginations.
The Magpies have been enjoying a slightly quieter week, and they have been getting fulling engrossed in activities; planning, designing, checking and reviewing their work as they go.
The week began with forest-folkers’ and educators alike, excited by the added layer of fun an Easter weekend typically brings, filling the air with the chatter of chocolate-based adventures
What a difference the sunshine makes! This week we have been lucky enough to spend our days in t-shirts and shorts, smelling of sun cream and feeling that bit lighter without waterproof coats and trousers!
