New Year, Same Fabulous Forest!
Happy New Year to our wonderful Little Forest Folk families, what a fantastic first week back it has been!
We have all been so excited to welcome back all our little ones for a fresh new term here at Fulham and the children have been buzzing to be back. It is such a joy to see them so excited to jump right back into forest fun with their friends.
The children have enjoyed sharing stories about their wonderful Christmas celebrations with children talking about the twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, skiing in Switzerland and of course the yummy treats they had left out for Father Christmas and his Reindeer.
At the start of the week, the children enjoyed a wonderfully wet day which brought some familiar faces to camp - they were slimy, wriggly and very tiny! The children loved counting all the wiggly worms which had sheltered in damp areas under logs.
At the end of the week the children arrived at camp to find a giant dinosaur skeleton! The wonderful Ben had created an incredible model and this sparked lots of discussions about the different bones in our body and how our skeletons are different to our dinosaur friend.
Speaking of Ben, we have been so happy to have him back in the forest the past few weeks and now we are saying farewell again as he ventures back to university to continue studying all things bones. We wish you all the best this term Ben and hope to see you again during the Easter Holidays!
