We heard all about the lovely Easter breaks that our little ones have enjoyed, with lots of talk about Easter egg hunts, the Easter Bunny and all the treasures that they found.
We continued to have lots of fun with our friends in the forest this week. Our Little Forest Folk-ers used some clay which they discovered when they mixed with water went really sticky and you could use this like glue to make models. One made a snail and once they had made a sausage shape they worked out that by dipping it in water they could then coil it up like a shell. Once dried, it all stuck together thanks to the water! Realising this would hold our models together our little explorers set off to make lots of different items, from animals to dishes!
You should come and see the Arboretum, it is covered in bluebells and many many more gorgeous flowers and colours popping up all over the place. Our Little Forest Folk-ers were lucky enough to have our lovely photographer come down to the forest this week and take pictures among them. They joined in and took our cameras out to take some fantastic pictures too. They also went to the bluebell lookout point and made each other giggle to make big smiles for our own pictures with the beautiful flowers.
Our Little Forest Folk-ers are so kind to each other and have been fantastic at showing our new members the ropes. So lovely to see them all having fun and supporting each other in the forest.
