Wandsworth - Paper Pizzas

A stupendously fun week in the great outdoors! Many of the children have been baking and making paper pizzas. There were some very colourful pizzas, with a great profusion of toppings; cheese, pepper, pepperoni! Bon appétit! The children also took to another bear hunt with great enthusiasm. Running from the roars and giggling at the growls.

We made some alterations to the swing at a few points this week, to bring even more adventure! Many of the children had a delightful time, swinging like Tarzan, gripping the rope tight! With dazzling imagination, some children set up a "hovercraft rescue" service with the logs and twigs. Positioning seats at the front and back, they sat in the hovercraft and zoomed about helping people in need!

Our educator - Dan - managed to assemble a very elaborate zipline on Thursday morning. Suffice it to say, it was a huge hit! The most terrific part being that it operated with one child on the seat and the other pulling them with a rope. Naturally this engendered some terrific teamwork from the children; helping one another to go as fast as they could and take turns with each other. Well done!

We have been blessed with a camp full of giggles this week. It's always brilliant to see the children running about with such lively energy and joy. Once again, we look forward to next week. Have a great weekend everyone!
