Wandsworth - Clay Sensory Play

As one year ends, another begins, we left 2022 in a cold snap, with scarves and gloves, and we welcome 2023 barely needing our coats!

We enjoyed and embraced the downpours on Tuesday, this provided us with an opportunity to visit “clay hill” a firm favourite amongst our happy campers, this seemingly giant hill becomes super fun to slide down when it gets wet! So we set off on an adventure walk, and everyone had a great time sliding down! We then foraged for some loose clay, which we took back to camp ready for some cool sensory activities! Educator Dan made some brilliant carrots out of the clay, as some of our mini explorers currently enjoy roleplaying bunnies from Peter Rabbit as well as Mr McGregor.

It has only been a short week, but we have relished being back in the Forest, and may this lovely humid stint continue!

Have a great weekend one and all!
