Twickenham - Clay Creations & Lots of Painting

We have had an amazing week back in the forest following our winter break!

We have had a wonderful time catching up and talking about what everyone has done over Christmas and all the wonderful gifts we have all received.

Our avid explorers also spotted a broken balloon in the trees and had a great discussion of how best to get it down as it is not good for the birds. It’s wonderful to see our Little Forest Folk-ers creative minds at work, and their care for the other creatures around us.

Another exciting activity this week involved a cocoon with some toys, which were kindly brought in by one of our adventurers, to show us how the life cycle works. We learnt how caterpillars turn into a cocoon and then turn into butterflies. We decided to put the cocoon in the bushes to let the butterfly grow and get ready to fly away.

Of course, after a break from the forest, we couldn’t wait to get back to our favourite activities, so there were also some clay creations, lots of painting and many eager faces patiently waiting to use the swing!

What a wonderful week it’s been, we can’t wait to see you all in the forest next week for more adventures!
