Morden - Join the Puppet Band!

Happy Friday from Morden Little Forest Folk!

It’s been a musical week full of songs and instruments in the forest! Maria had most of the adventurers enthused in a musical puppet activity. The children used instruments as replacement of a voice for their puppets and spoke to each other using drums, bells, and xylophones! We could hear ‘tigers ROAAR’, lots of laughing and then also listening intently as peers had their turn recalling their name and animal or musical voice.

Nasila has injected colour into the forest this week! Linen, t-shirts & a dress have featured in the tie dye activity and captured many adventurers’ interests! Engrossed in using coloured bottles to dye exposed pieces of white material you could hear ‘woahh’ ‘WOW’ ‘pink’ ‘orange’ from around the forest! The results so far have been super.

The children have also made their own playdough and had a lot of sticky fun! Using words like ‘squidgy’, ‘sticky’ and describing making ‘round peas’ and ‘flat pizzas!’

Imagination has been running wild as usual! Flying cars, building boats & rocket ships have shown the Little Forest Folk-ers work and interact together.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
