Fulham - Chick, Chick, Chickens!

Our lovely Little Forest Folk-ers have had an exceptional week this week and it has been so fabulous to see all our new starters settled in their new environment.

The children have been exploring a range of creative materials this week, using chalks, paints, pens, and dabbers in a variety of different ways. The children used the chalk on different surfaces; the deck, paper, and logs, seeing how it felt different in their hands as they ran it along each of the surfaces. The dabbers are a particularly satisfying medium as the children enjoy splatting them on the paper, creating a firework of colour!

As our new children are settling in so well, we have begun venturing out of camp to go and see the new chickens in the walled garden! The children have enjoyed admiring the variety of different colours each chicken has and their fluffy little legs!

Finally, the children have also enjoyed making paper aeroplanes with Xiao, and then seeing how far they can fly! Xiao also made some little paper wallets for the children to store all their forest treasures, and then was lucky enough to receive a pamper session during his visit to Fulham as the children enjoyed doing his hair using the tweezers!
