Morden - A Wonderfully Spooky Treasure Hunt

Good afternoon 🐿️! This week in the forest 🌳 the adventurers have been super busy!

We kicked off the week with some firework paintings for Diwali! Using bright colours to create all sorts of wonderful creations; the children were heard saying ‘wow’ ‘I love fireworks’ ‘colourful’ ‘splat’ ‘weeeee pop pop’.

We then got a little spookier ahead of Halloween by making witch hat puzzles and pumpkin painting 🎃 Nasila also created a wonderfully spooky treasure hunt by scattering ghost leaves around the forest for the adventurers to hunt down. 👻 As well as this, the children have been busy making witches potions 🧪 using ingredients including ‘slugs’ ‘sticks and dirt’ ‘bubbles’ and ‘toes’! It's always amazing to see the forest folk-ers imaginations run wild.

We also couldn’t resist making story time a little spooky too with some of our favourite books; ‘Room on the Broom’ & ‘ Funny Bones’ 🦴

It has been wonderful having some new and familiar faces with us this week and seeing the holiday campers enjoy making new friends, running races and building together with our full-time children!

We look forward to seeing you next week and hope you all have a fun and spooky weekend 👻
