Nature’s playground
Our Autumn forest has continued to provide us with more opportunities here at Little Forest Folk Fulham as the trees prepare themselves for the cold months ahead.
The children have been busy using these materials within their play, especially enjoying using the aromas of the flowers from the gardens within their mud kitchen creations. Some children decided that these flowers were much too pretty and saved them for their families at the end of the day instead!
Conor also did some sawing with the children this week and everyone did an excellent job at ensuring they were safe in the tool circle, listening to Conor when he gave them instructions.
Towards the end of the week, the children enjoyed challenging themselves to some abseiling! Using two pallets, the children climbed up one side of the pallets with a rope and slid down the other side! It was great to see the children persevering despite the slippery surface with the rain coming down overhead.
Another wonderful week in the forest, we hope all of our sessional day families have some wonderful half-term adventures and look forward to seeing our full day children in the forest for more fun next week! Have a great weekend!
