Fulham - Halloween Party & Wriggly Worms

Spooktacular Forest Fun

Happy Second Half of Autumn Term Everyone! This definitely marks an exciting period here at Little Forest Folk as we approach frostier days and everyone starts to get that festive feeling!

At the start of the week, we welcomed some much spookier creatures into the forest as we had a Halloween party! Our Little Forest Folk-ers came dressed in a variety of glorious outfits including skeletons, dinosaurs and even superheroes and it was great to see their beaming smiles as they showed them off to their friends!

Mid-week, the children enjoyed a special experiment where they made some wiggly worms using kitchen towel which they decorated with beautiful colours. Once they had added the finishing touches the children watched in awe as they poured water over their wiggly worms and watched them expand!

The children also enjoyed an adventure walk towards the end of the day and spent our wander appreciating the variety of fallen leaves the gardens had to offer! Some leaves were bigger than our heads! We also admired the wonderful fungi in the natural garden, noticing the vast variety on offer there.

We hope you all have fantastic weekends, whether you are going to see a fireworks display, enjoying a crisp autumn walk or relaxing at home! We cannot wait to hear all about it next week. :)
