This week in camp Fulham has been spook-tacular!!!!! 👻🦇🎃
We have definitely made the most out of celebrating Halloween. It was lovely to see some cool Halloween costumes that the children came in wearing - ranging from fire fighters to pumpkins and even vampires!
Our Little Forest Folk-ers have all had a wonderful time participating in Halloween crafts, making milk bottle creatures, paper ghosts and it wouldn’t be Halloween if we didn’t do some pumpkin carving with real pumpkins!
This week also saw our little artists embracing their crafty sides in the creative area as bonfire weekend approaches. We had various activities on offer to support this. The children used toilet roll tubes and paint to make some colourful splatting pictures to look like fireworks, we also made some fire-coloured handprints with paint to look like a bonfire and there was a great food activity with breadsticks where the little ones made their own little edible sparklers!
Sticking with the food theme we also made some banana and mango smoothies using the blender. The children got to choose and chop the fruit and then add it to the blender with some milk, after this everyone watched as it all blended and mixed together to create their own tasty, yummy smoothies that they would drink after.
Our week in the forest has been super busy and we are all excited to see the adventures we get up to next week here in the Fulham forest.
