We’ve had such a lovely week with very adventurous and curious children in the forest🍃
Many children had fun with play-dough making this week. Children helped prepare all the ingredients, such as flour, oil and water, and mixed them in a big bowl using a spatula. They enjoyed observing how the flour transformed its texture as they added water and oil; from powder, to sticky goo and finally to lovely soft dough 🥰.
They used different kinds of tools to create cookies, cakes, snakes and monsters 👹, showing amazing creativity and fine motor skills!
Another highlight of this week was our lovely yoga session. The children started the yoga session by holding each other’s hands and showing appreciation to the forest. as an educator asked the children what kind adventure they’d like to go on, they decided to go find some dinosaurs 🦕. On their imaginary adventure, they explored many yoga poses, such as mountain pose, dinosaur-egg pose and ninja pose 🥷🥷. It was so lovely to see them being very creative and imaginative 🙌.
We also enjoyed adventure walks and lots of physically challenging activities, such as a slack-line and tree climbing, which all helps in building little ones confidence as great Forest Folk-ers.
