What an amazing week we've had in the forest, blessed with sunshine! It was a wonderful opportunity to follow up on our weather topic from last week. We've been venturing out onto the field, feeling the sunshine on our skin, and discussing how it makes us feel and why it's so important for us and nature.
On Tuesday, we celebrated Pancake Day with great enthusiasm. The children had an amazing time making pancakes out of clay. Each child had a small cardboard pan to flip their pancakes, creating delicious chocolate and strawberry toppings out of clay to accompany their creations.
Thursday was filled with excitement as we celebrated World Book Day! Our forest transformed into a wild library, with children indulging in library role play and engaging in stories all day long. Teachers dressed as popular characters, and many children put on costumes, making the day even more magical.
Throughout the week, we've also continued practicing our cutting skills. The children made beautiful paper sunshines, helping to strengthen their fine motor skills while adding a burst of sunshine to our camp.
Thank you for another fantastic week in the forest!
