Greetings to all our wonderful families.
What an exciting week it has been at Chiswick House and Gardens as we kicked off our summer holiday camp! We were thrilled to welcome back some familiar faces and extend a warm welcome to our new friends joining us for the adventures ahead.
Our explorations took us on thrilling adventure walks, where we embarked on a quest to discover insects and identify their fascinating characteristics. This inspired us to create bug hotels, providing a cosy haven for these little creatures in our camp.
Our feathered friends also captured our attention as we observed the birds fluttering around. To lend a helping hand, we built nests for them and filled our bird feeders with treats. We delighted in the joy of being still and observing as various bird species visited our camp.
One of the highlights of the week was the discovery of secret climbing logs. With spirits of adventure, we revisited these logs, conquering new heights with each climb.
Our Eco Committee has been hard at work, engaging in discussions about biodiversity and ways we can support the wildlife in our camp. Their dedication to our environment is truly inspiring, and we are proud of their efforts.
As we reflect on this incredible week, we are grateful for the laughter, joy, and fun shared with your children. It has been a week of exploration, discovery, and nurturing our connection with nature.
We can't wait to see what the upcoming weeks of summer camp hold for us, and we look forward to creating many more cherished memories together.
Wishing you all a fantastic weekend and see you for more adventures next week!
