Chiswick - NATIONAL TEDDY BEAR DAY

Why did the teddy bear say no to the ice cream? He was beyond stuffed!

Wow! Weren’t we lucky with the amount of sunshine we received this week! Though it was hot, it did not stop our little explorers from doing what they do best… EXPLORING!

Our little adventurers are the best at showing us just how much the weather doesn’t stop them, be it sunshine or rain! We enjoyed every little ray of sunshine we had this week and then cooled off with the relaxing sound of the rain tapping on the top of our leaves! Tap… tap… tap!

Our little bundles of joy started this spectacular week off by showing off their tremendous balancing skills! By putting one foot in front of the other, our Little Forest Folk-ers managed to balance all the way to the end of our super bouncy slackline - without any help! How cool!

Speaking of being super, did you know that we have superheroes in our forest?! That’s right! We had Batman, superman and even unicorns! Have no fear, our superheroes are here. Our superheroes made our forest feel very safe and spent their time chasing away the joker.

Our older Little Forest Folk-ers have been such great role models to our younger friends, though wary at first, soon turned into being such confident adventurers which is always so lovely to see! Some don’t even want to go home at the end of the day. Our little friends enjoyed so many different fine and gross motor activities including, painting, drawing, sensory activities, feely bags, sticking leaves, and then going on long adventurous walks to the green area and seeing some ducks 🦆!

Also, this week, it was NATIONAL TEDDY BEAR DAY! Our little heroes brought in their own teddy bears and we had our very own teddy bear picnic. We spoke about how special our teddy bears are to us and we all had tea together and ate some yummy sandwiches.

We hope everyone has a BEAR-Y good weekend and hope you enjoy this weather whilst it lasts!
