Chiswick - Multicoloured Butterflies and Fearsome Tigers

What a beautiful sunny week we have had in the forest 🌞

We kicked off our week with some magical face paint creations - our little adventurers were transformed into multicoloured butterflies and fearsome tigers, bringing a burst of colour to our camp.

Our little explorers set out on lots of adventure walks in the sunshine this week, strolling through the sun-lit meadow and shady trees. We even saw some terrapins swimming through the river water!

Is it round? Is it spiky? Is it squishy? Our mystery box held a whole host of sensory surprises for us to experiment with - are you brave enough to give it a go?

We ended our week with some aromatherapy and mindfulness. Sweet orange, jasmine, lemongrass, and sandalwood were just some of the calming scents floating on the forest breeze as we read calming poems.

Mindfulness fact of the week: Mindfulness for children can be introduced through activities that encourage them to be more in touch with their senses, for example eating slowly and savouring the smell, texture, and taste!
