This Monday we celebrated Independence Day by colouring in pictures of American wildlife, and then crafting and constructing picture frames using colourful ribbons and sticks! We also got our Pride on and proudly decorated ourselves with rainbows! On our arms, on our legs and on our heads!
Origami galore! Ever since our paper plane craze, our lovely educator Mariko has taught us new ways to fold and create paper shapes. Our range of Boeings, Concords and Airbuses have evolved, and our adventurers are now making origami ninja stars! Throwing them at tall, TREEmemdous targets.
‘Tis the Sports Day season and here at Chiswick we sure caught a bit of Sports Day Fever as we hauled in some shiny new equipment to our camp. Cones, hula hoops, ladders, rackets, balls and beanbags created the perfect exercise zone for our adventurers (and educators!) Wimbledon came to the forest as our Little Forest Folks joined the ranks of Federer and Nadal, putting on an epic tennis tournament.
Joke of the week:
What do you call a girl standing on a tennis court?
ANNETTE!
