Chiswick - Building Friendships

New Routines, new adventures and building friendships every day!

We’re slowing getting there with our newbies settling, everyday there are more smiles than tears which is so warming to see. We have bonded this week by playing circle games such as “Ring a Ring a Roses” and “Hokey Cokey”, where we all tumbled and giggled in the mud.

Listening and communication has been very evident this week, especially amongst friends. It was very sweet to see the children help each other to move the hammock, whilst the person in the hammock directed their friends to push slow or fast. They also worked together on making aeroplanes, helping one another once they were made to see how far they could fly.

We’ve looked high and low in our ‘I spy’ game; our inquistive explorers looked to see which objects they could find in the forest from their list of pictures. They were very good at spotting things, such as spiky leaves, spiders, and flowers.

We’ve also explored what lies under logs, and even used our books to learn more about the Autumn season and what to expect over the coming weeks.

Keep your eyes peeled for more details our trip to Kew Gardens, we’ll be visiting the gardens in October for all the spookier shenanigans! 🎃

Joke of the week:
What do you get when you cross an airplane with a magician?
A FLYING SORCERER 🧙‍♀️
