The highlight of the week was undoubtedly the visit from our local fire fighters! With great excitement, we explored their magnificent fire engine, learning about their heroic job and the importance of fire safety. Our little ones had the extraordinary opportunity to become firefighters for a morning, igniting their imaginations and fuelling their dreams.

In our wild cooking session, we delved into the world of healthy food, creating a delectable Holy Moly Guacamole. The children eagerly participated in every step, from mashing the avocados to mixing in the vibrant ingredients. Not only did they enjoy the flavours, but they also discovered the significance of nourishing their bodies with wholesome and nutritious choices.

On Thursday, our mud kitchen underwent a delightful transformation into a bustling pizza shop. Together, we prepared real dough, unleashing our creativity as we adorned our pizzas with wild and imaginative toppings. The joyous aroma filled the air as we ‘cooked’ our culinary creations, fostering a sense of pride in our little chefs.

Amidst these adventures, we ventured on enchanting walks, discovering the wonders of nature while immersing ourselves in the world of letters and numbers. Our aim is to ensure that our Little Forest Folk-ers are fully prepared for the exciting journey ahead, as they transition to big school, all while cherishing the joy and wonder of childhood.
