Wimbledon - Worms at Wimbledon!

Worms at Wimbledon have been the highlight of our week! There have been so many opportunities to explore in and around the meadow this week and look for as many worms as possible. We have spent lots of time looking under logs and in muddy holes to see what we could find. This was such a fun activity, which also included doing lots of counting and talking about sizes when we saw the worms wiggling around too.

Another popular topic of conversation this week has been science. This was mainly inspired by our big volcano experiment on the meadow. Two big bottles were hidden in the mud and our explorers watched as we added the ingredients to make the lava flow out! It was very fun, and you could hear the excitement ring around the forest as our little adventurers watched in awe!

We have also done some amazing junk modelling from recycled materials; making robots and machines from as many boxes as we could use.

On top of all of this, there has been mark-making, daffodil measuring and lots of climbing too!

Another great week in the forest!
