This week Wimbledon Village have been in a land of pure imagination. We have explored Dragons 🐉, Mermaids 🧜♀️, Unicorns 🦄, Fairies 🧚♀️ and even Aliens 👽!!
On Monday a large dragon 🐉 appeared in the forest which the children loved interacting with, but not before they all made a dragon hat to wear and finished off the look with some fantastic dragon face paint!
On Tuesday we went underwater and submerged ourselves into the magical world of mermaids 🧜♀️. Here we had some sensory play dough with shells as well as focusing on our fine motor skills with threading necklaces with shell beads.
On Wednesday we had some unicorns 🦄 fly in where we threaded rainbow beads and made some brilliant headbands. There was lots of lovely conversations about the mysterious creatures and how they can fly.
Thursday we went into a sparkly world of fairies 🧚♀️. We had a little fairy land where the children used pine cones they had collected to make their own fairies before using them to build a fairy house and showcase some fantastic imaginative play.
To finish the week off the Little Forest Folk-ers saw a spaceship on camp! They all had a great time interacting with it and made some alien 👽 tree cookie medals.
