Jubilee celebrations all round at Wimbledon this week!

Our week started off with making elderflower cordial from fresh elderflower that children found and picked themselves. We then even made strawberry and blueberry jam on the fire with all the children to put into sandwiches at our Jubilee party. We spent time reading stories about the Queen and what her Jubilee means, as well as making lots of forest crafts to decorate our forest with. The children have enjoyed finding flowers to decorate crowns and using items around the forest to paint flags with.

It’s been a wonderful week and we are ending it with a forest “street” party for the Jubilee! 🇬🇧
