Wimbledon - A Field of Buttercups

The Wimbledon Forest is alive with amazing signs of summer. The mud has cleared, the birds are chirping, and the meadow is just full of buttercups. It is truly an incredible site to walk in to. The forest has been alive with activities this week from canvas paintings to adventure walks to play dough. Taking advantage of the lovely weather our children have been engaging in plenty of water play. This week we experimented with funnels, cylinders, pipits, and jugs. Further food dye was also added to allow the chance to explore colour as well. There has also been so much imagination play! In the bunnies group a restaurant was set up perfectly, for selling all our favourite mud kitchen foods. In foxes a group of children were superheroes all day setting traps for the baddies and rescuing the good guys.

Another fabulous week!
