Wandsworth - Kilos of Ice

The beginning of the week saw some of the hottest temperatures recorded, which called for a variety of carefully planned activities and with the precise high level of care we typically espouse, little ones were well supported to regulate and remain as happy as possible. Children as ever had a blast, and we had lots of fun with several kilos of ice formed into various shapes and even spray bottles of water that children excitedly squirted each other and educators with. We’d like to add a jolly well done to all families getting through the weather this week, we know it can be hard on children in the evenings and we know that can be hard on you, so hopefully cooler incoming weather helps us all get back into routine soon.

This week also saw some of the last days for our sessional term time children. We will dearly miss those that are moving onto receptions or other settings, and we applaud all the achievements of those that have passed through this uniquely exciting model of play and education. For those returning after the summer break we can’t wait to see how much you’ve all grown and can’t wait to hear all about your adventures.

For now though, have a great relaxing weekend everyone!
