Promises made are promises kept, and this week saw a continuation of face painting fun for children yet to be embellished! Nicol, Abbie and playworker Katie are forever levelling up their mastery of the make up and over the past few days we have enjoyed the company of a “big scary” dinosaur, a pumpkin from “the pumpkin patch”, a unicorn, a fabulous fox, even more butterflies, and some glorious rainbows. One of last week’s pirates even grew a beard and a “curly moustache like Matty!”. This activity continues to give great enjoyment to children and educators alike who fill the creative time on the tarp with great chats about anything and everything, which is perfect for scaffolding in all the areas of learning!
