Twickenham - Pirates Galore

This week has seen pirates galore, flooding the forest with their cunning ways and hunting for treasure using maps and telescopes made from tissue paper rolls. Using ‘Pete the Parakeet’ as a trusty guide, the group managed to locate the treasure box full of silver coins. At snack time we all toasted the success with a joyous rendition of ‘Yo, Ho, Ho’ and raised our apple juice to the sky! Later in the week saw our forest educator Charlie open a popular face-painting stall with a queue that went right round the forest! Soon the place was full of tigers, butterflies, dogs, cats and even some monsters! On Tuesday afternoon the children marvelled at the heavy rain and enjoyed splashing in the puddles with their friends. Some of our Little Forest Folk-ers de-camped to the mud kitchen to use the rainwater to make poisonous potions. Luckily one child decided to make a slightly more palatable ‘chocolate pie.’

We hope you all have a lovely weekend!
