We have had an action-packed week here at Putney Heath filled with amazing activities and adventures.
Our highlight this week must be our role play extravaganza which we themed around cars. Our forest was decorated with different signs for different car stations. First, we had a petrol filling station where the children used long black tubes to fill themselves up with petrol. We then had a car wash to ensure that our cars were all squeaky clean for our journey around the forest. After the children drove miles and miles around the forest, they needed to visit the mechanic to make sure their cars were in tip top condition! There the children were welcomed by mechanics with all sorts of tools to fix up their cars. At the end of their journeys the children parked their cars in our forest car park, ready to start all over again!
We have also been saying our goodbyes to Charlie, our very cherished Manager who is leaving us this week. We have all made so many memories in the forest with Charlie and we are so grateful for the wisdom and knowledge he has shared with both the children and the educators over the years, he will be dearly missed!
