After a week of Baltic conditions, we couldn’t quite believe the weather we walked into on Monday morning. Instead of a sheet of snow covering the bowling green, we were greeted with warm temperatures and a humid breeze!
We have enjoyed a much slower week this week; as we said goodbye to our sessional children last week, we have been based at our bowling club site, spending the mornings doing various Christmas arts and crafts, before spending the afternoon outdoors.
On Monday we decorated some festive pine cones for tree decorations, and had a mini Christmas disco with our new disco ball light. We were also treated to a special children’s entertainment show by one of our nursery parents, Joe Jangles, which our children LOVED.
On Tuesday we wrote our letters to Santa, and decorated some festive biscuits!
On Wednesday we made mud mince pies in our digging area. The excitement around Father Christmas coming is definitely high, as a lot of the children’s role play has been centred around Father Christmas and Rudolph.
It has been a very nice final week of the year, and we look forward to welcoming you all back in the new year.
Merry Christmas Little Forest Folk Wandsworth Families!
