Twickenham - Budding Bakers

Budding artists and bakers are definitely emerging in Twickenham!

This week, we had a lot of creatives showing their pure talent. We used different kinds of medium to incorporate natural resources we have in the forest, this included; leaf rubbing using crayons, chalk on tree bark and logs and sparkly watercolour paint in recycled boxes. We also had fun playing with our ukulele and egg shakers, while singing our hearts out to our favourite songs.

The children were in for a treat as the grandma of two of our Little Forest Folk-ers came to do some baking with our little bakers. Their maths skills were at work as they measured the ingredients needed to make yummy shortbread. Lots of muscle movements were also put into use as they mixed the ingredients together to make the perfect batter consistency. We shaped them into different moulds and topped them with colourful sprinkles before baking them in the oven. It was a yummy treat we all had in the afternoon!

Wishing you all a lovely weekend!
