What a beautiful sunny week in the forest.

The children loved having the wheelbarrows in the forest at the beginning of the week and used them to carry water from one side of the camp to the other. When a lot of water was put in a wheelbarrow the children quickly noticed that they had to walk very slowly to ensure they wouldn’t spill any of the water in transit.

The pirates made another appearance in the forest this week, but they had to leave in a hurry and dropped a lot of precious stones which the children collected in their treasure chests.

Pass the ice pack was the children’s favourite game to cool down and stay hydrated. If they were not holding an ice pack when the music stopped the children took big sips of water and off went the music again.

We also had a very musical week with a lot of dancing and playing musical instruments. ‘Jelly on a Plate’ and ‘All I Eat is Pizza’ are strong favourites of the Little Forest Folk-ers.
