This week has been filled with excitement, new faces, and a variety of different activities. We have had the joy of welcoming not only lots of new Little Forest Folk-ers but some new educators who will be joining the Little Forest Folk team as well. Our new settlers have been amazing and have shown such bravery in their first steps into exploring the forest.
The children have engaged in some amazing and meaningful role play this week, from being firefighters working together to put the fires out, to being sneaky pirates trying to retrieve the treasure from the feisty Kraken lurking in the water.
Another highlight of our week must be our busy potion making corner. The children have loved mixing different paints, mud, sticks and even a few dinosaurs into different pots and pans to create some bubbly potions.
The last highlight of our week is our amazing car activities. The children have been busy building ramps and car parks for our cars in the forest. The children experimented with different heights and sizes for the ramps and held competitions to see which car made it down the ramp first!
