Putney Heath's week was filled with wonderful role play supported by some amazing setups which supported the children to fully immerse themselves in different worlds. One day the children embarked on a journey to find pirates and then even found treasures after defeating the pirates and a big kraken hiding in the brambles. On a different day the children rescued the bunny from the flames with great firefighting skills.

The wildlife that lives around our site are becoming important members of our Forest Folk community and the children include them into their role play. One day a squirrel missed the next branch and fell onto camp (luckily unharmed) and the children prepared some medicine for it in the mud kitchen. On another occasion the squirrels inspired the children to build a maze on camp in which they imagined how the squirrel would manage to get past each obstacle they built.
