We hope this finds you well, surrounded by the songs of the wind. It's been another enchanting week in our forest, filled with laughter, learning, and a whole lot of exploration.
The forest echoed with the sounds of joy as our little ones embraced the windy weather, swinging between the trees. With each sway, they discovered the magic of movement and the freedom of the open air.
This week, our Little Forest Folk-ers delved into the world of tools under the guidance of Xiao. The forest resounded with thwacks and thumps of hammers as they worked with focus and determination. It was lovely to see the children develop a new skill.
As the week progressed, the children embarked on a collaborative project. Our curious explorers experimented with natural dyeing. They combined turmeric, red onion peel, cabbage, and beetroot to dye a flag for our beloved nursery. They watched in wonder as the vibrant colours transferred to fabric, creating unique and beautiful patterns. Their hands-on exploration nurtured creativity and a sense of pride in their collective creation.
Through stories about tidying up and caring for belongings, our little ones developed a strong sense of personal responsibility. Discussions about family dynamics deepened their understanding of the roles of caregivers and the importance of nurturing relationships.
As we bid farewell to another magical week in the forest, we're filled with gratitude for the laughter, learning, and love. Until next time, may the forest continue to inspire and nurture us all.
