Twickenham - Knee-deep in Squelchy Mud!

This week, our Little Forest Folk-ers have been continuously busy exploring the wonders of family and celebrating our unique differences. We strung up their adorable family photographs, creating a masterpiece. The children had a blast comparing their families and sharing stories about their photo adventures and giggled with delight when they saw the teacher photos from their younger days. Oh, what wonderful memories we make!

Inspired by their incredible families, the Little Forest Folk-ers embarked on a creative journey, designing their very own paper dolls. They brought their family members to life, crafting dolls with yellow hair, green eyes, and even rainbow faces and dresses! Our forest is now bursting with colourful characters, adding a touch of whimsy to our daily adventures.

Speaking of adventures, our little explorers have been knee-deep in squelchy mud lately! Thanks to the buckets of rain we've been blessed with, the ground has transformed into the perfect digging spot. Worms and hidden treasures have been unearthed, and oh boy, have we baked some awe-inspiring mud cakes and enjoyed a cup of swishy-swashy hot chocolate or a babyccino. It's all about the culinary experience, you know!

Over at the corner of forest, crates have magically transformed into cars, and our little drivers lined up, ready to embark on thrilling journeys. From Jamaica to Spain and even Portsmouth, our forest roads were buzzing with excitement. The children shared tales of their family holidays, sparking laughter and wanderlust among us all. But wait, there's more! Our forest transformed into a mini neighbourhood, complete with cosy houses and rooms. Our little ones revelled in playing pretend, tucking their friends into bed and whipping up delicious treats in the Mud Kitchen. Meanwhile, our front room boasted a cardboard TV and a treasure trove of storybooks for endless adventures and discussions. It's all about creating a home away from home.

Stay tuned for more forest adventures in the coming weeks!
