Putney Heath - Chef's Delight in the Forest Kitchen!

Mechanic Workshop Adventures
One of the highlights of the week was the child-led imaginative play in our mechanic workshop. Using old trolley wheels and their trusty toolkits, the children transformed into mechanics, fixing up cars and trucks with gusto. This led to a whole new narrative of bravery and heroism as they imagined themselves in a fire truck, racing to the rescue and putting out fires with their newly repaired engine.

Creative Construction with Loose Materials
Our little builders have been busy using loose materials to construct their own creations, from weaving yarn and string to crafting cars and planes. Each creation is a testament to their ingenuity and resourcefulness, sparking endless hours of imaginative play and exploration.

Flower Pressing and Nature's Beauty
In a nod to nature's beauty, we've brought out our flower press and embarked on a floral adventure. With delicate flowers in hand, the children carefully laid out their blooms in intricate designs, working together to press them for preservation. We eagerly await the unveiling of our pressed flowers in about a month's time, a testament to the timeless beauty of nature's creations.

Chef's Delight in the Forest Kitchen
Our forest kitchen came alive with the hustle and bustle of budding chefs as our little snackers took charge of preparing afternoon treats. With melon ballers, apple corers, and knives in hand, the children worked together to chop fruit and serve up a tasty snack for everyone to enjoy. A delightful display of teamwork and culinary creativity!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!
