Our week here at Putney Heath has been simply magical, filled with snow, laughter and a whole lot of fun.

At the beginning of the week we were welcomed with fresh snow,
The children enjoyed sledge rides, all shouting “Let's go”,
Our eyes widened as we took in the wonderland before us,
The children jumped in the snow, playing without fuss.
We quickly built ourselves a magnificent snowman,
The people of the public were definitely a huge fan,
We clothed him and named him and took pictures galore,
And the children decided to build lots more.
The middle of the week meant for more adventures to the pond,
Of that all the children were very, very fond,
We studied the ice and how it shined in the light,
Our Little Forest Folk-ers stood amazed at the sight,
Our biggest highlight of the week, of that there is no doubt,
Had to be our Santa visit which made our children laugh and shout,
He delivered some presents and read us a story,
And filled our camp and children with wonder and glory.
