The Little Forest Folk-ers and their holiday camp friends have been very busy in the forest this week. With the arrival of new, bigger paper, we have seen the children's creativity and imagination take to the stage in the creative area. They loved using the whole size of the paper to paint beautiful houses in the forest and make wonderful leaf prints.
Another novelty in the forest were some colourful tweezers, which the children used for a mathematical game of rolling the dice and then picking up as many pompoms in the colour of their tweezers as represented on the dice. The children showed great focus and persistence during this game.
And how can we not mention the amazing rainfall we had during this week. Children were so excited to collect water from our tarps to use in the mud kitchen, dance in the rain with their educators and jump in big puddles on the way out of the forest.
We wish you all a wonderful weekend!
