We have had a FANTASTIC week here at Putney Heath!
Monday saw the first day of our Elderflower cordial production. A group of children stayed on camp to take part in the elderflower activity whilst the other children embarked on a litter picking adventure. Each day this week there has been a different group of children taking part in the Elderflower cordial and they have all enjoyed picking the flowers, cutting, and grating the lemons and were all amazed at the sugar being poured into the mixture. At the end of the day, they were all able to take home their very own little bottle of elderflower cordial and they were all so proud of what they had created.
The litter picking adventures have been a great success this week and the children have managed to fill up several bags of litter. We are so pleased that our Little Forest Folk-ers are so eager to make our forest a cleaner and safer space for ourselves and our wildlife.
At the end of this week, we had our 'Jubilee Teddy Tea Party'. The children brought their own teddies from home, and we enjoyed a wonderful snack party in the afternoon, laughing and introducing everyone to our furry friends.
We hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
