This week has certainly been a week of many weathers… wind, rain and sunny spells!
The gorgeous sun has finally shown its face and this has attracted many bees to visit us. The children love watching the bees from a safe distance, hard at work gathering pollen, and this inspired our explorers to put on their artistic hats and use sponges to create some wonderful, stamped pieces of bee-themed art!
The rain this week made some thick, oozy mud on site which is always a hit with our little adventurers. As the children began to explore, they discovered that lots of worms were using the mud as the perfect hiding place! Our Little Forest Folk-ers immediately got to work, working as a team to dig the mud and rescue a family of worms by building homes for them to stay safe in together.
Some of our adventurers have also been busy this week exploring the jungle path and finding new places for themselves to hide!
What a busy week it’s been, we hope you all have a great weekend.
