Hello everyone,
What a week to be in the forest! With parents visiting us for stay and play to the weather not making its mind up, it’s been a busy one. This week we opened our very own spa, practiced our nail painting skills, and made wonderful clay masks. Although the children decided it couldn’t become a full-time gig, the educators still hold out hope.
We also had the pleasure of greeting a little field mouse in the forest, after much deliberation we named him Remi. Everyone was very careful as they approached Remi, placing their feet nicely so as to not make too much noise and whispering questions.
We also used our paints to create wonderful gems in the forest. After going on adventure walks to collect big stones, we decorated them so even the queen would be proud to place them in her crown! When the stones ran out, we brought out our homemade cardboard stags head to decorate!
Sadly, our farewells have begun for the year and we wish these children the best in their next adventure!
Have a lovely weekend! We can’t wait to see what next week will bring!
