What another fantastic week spent in our Fulham forest! ππ³
Our Fulham nursery is well known for its superb wooden pallet creations, extending and expanding on the childrenβs imaginative play. So, to live up to our standards this week, we created an amazing pirate ship which docked up on our Fulham camp and transformed us all into pirates - ahoy there mate! π΄ββ οΈ
Fitting nicely with this, we had some great creative artwork using paper plates where the children worked on their scissor control skills to cut out strips of paper in order to make some cool looking sea creatures, such as an octopus.
A great spontaneous children-led activity saw our children using cloths to clean up our camp space, everyone took great pride in scrubbing different parts and resources around our site, all demonstrating wonderful teamwork as they worked together.
This week we have welcomed three new friends into to our forest family and we must say it always melts our hearts to see how well our children on camp really take their new peers under their wing and help them feel super welcome and involved in their play. What great little adventurers we really do have here in Fulham!
Another activity this week saw us developing our fine motor skills using some pincers, and it was interesting to watch as all the children experimented using them by picking up some of our small animal bugs and insect resources and then transporting them from one place to another.
After having a super fun-packed week we are excited to see what learning opportunities will appear next week!
