Welcome to parakeet paradise
This week we have been making our new site really feel like our new camp, embracing the sunshine and getting even closer to our forest friends!
We started off the week with fierce positivity, brightening up the forest with our rainbow colour finger painting flowers. Alongside our rainbow, dots and numbers were practised, enhancing our counting skills.
Adventure walks were at full speed, meadow madness, climbing trees, visiting teddy bear tree and this week we were feeding the ducks on the pond which has become one of the favourites of the week!
We saw a variety of our water friends including 4 herons and even a swan came to investigate. On another walk we witnessed the beauty of the Italian gardens, where we found roses and speckled petals in the lily pond!
Midweek moving was not only exciting for our Little Forest Folk-ers but also for our forest educators who were ecstatic to explore our new campsite and create some extra fun!
Our gigantic swing brought us to new heights joining the trees where the parquets and squirrels squabbled over their favourite tree. Later in the week our ice cream shop opened for business for the first time this year, welcoming the sunshine with 1 scoop for £1.50 to 3 for £3.
This week we can really feel the boost of energy and smiles bringing up the vibe all around, with love and appreciation we close this week with our hearts wide open.
Self love idea; have you tried mirror affirmations? Repeating kind words to yourself and others goes a long way, you can be building your very own love monster!
