Hello Fantastic Families,
Another week of adventure and discovery has passed at Little Forest Folk Chiswick and it's time to share some of the exciting moments our little explorers experienced.
Let's dive into the highlights of the week.
Nature Treasures and Creativity: Our young naturalists have been busy collecting treasures from the great outdoors—conkers, leaves, feathers, and more. These treasures became the building blocks for their imaginative nature "people," each as unique as the children who created them. It's incredible to witness the creativity that flourishes when nature and art combine.
Playdough Delight: Playdough has become a beloved weekly tradition. The tactile joy of moulding and shaping this versatile material not only sparks creativity but also enhances fine motor skills and sensory development. Our little artists have been crafting masterpieces with enthusiasm.
Dinosaur Adventures: The highlight of the week was a roaring success as we delved into the world of dinosaurs. Our young palaeontologists embarked on a journey through time, creating their very own dinosaur world. This thrilling adventure continued throughout the week, leading to the creation of dinosaur nests, imaginative play as dinosaurs, and deep dives into Dino books to learn about various species. Dinosaurs truly captured our imaginations!
Nature-Based Art: Our budding artists experimented with creating their own paint using natural materials like berries. They mashed and mixed these vibrant pigments to adorn leaves for the dinosaur nests. It's incredible to see how nature itself can inspire and be used for artistic expression.
Each day at Little Forest Folk is a new chapter of exploration and learning, and we're thrilled to be part of this journey with your children. Thank you for sharing their wonder and creativity with us.
