Glittery and colourful playdoh made scrumptious ice creams this week as our adventurers scooped their flavours into their real wafer cones. Peach, mint chocolate chip, strawberry and blueberry ice creams were sold from our forest kiosk. We were left with some very happy customers.
Wildfire cooking took a summery turn this week as our Little Forest Folk-ers embarked on an Eton Mess quest. Mixing fresh berries, meringues, and custard into a delicious treat, ready to take home to eat!
Homemade dice were used this week to play party games, educators created a snail maze to use with the dice and practiced their counting, moving across the maze with the number they rolled. You can’t have party games without a game of skittles! Chiswick’s adventurers used the dice to reach the stacked cups and then threw a ball to bring our skittles crashing down.
Tree explorers went on an expedition this week to find their elder. The Elder trees in the forest make excellent craft materials. Our adventurers sawed, drilled, and stitched tree cookies together to make gorgeous jewellery.
Joke of the week:
What’s a horse’s favourite flavour ice cream?
STRAWberry!
