We have had a lovely week in the forest! The children have been amazing at coping with the changing weather. No rain, hail or wind can stop us having fun outside - well done everyone!
Birthday
This week it was Little Forest Folk Chiswick’s 8 year birthday. We want to say a big thank you to all of the lovely families who have been a part of the journey so far. We are looking forward to a great new year with all of you!
Music in the forest
We have been playing loads of music together this week. The Music Man Joe came to visit on one day, and the children were so excited to sing and play their favourite songs with him.
We have also been carrying on with our Little Forest Orchestra. Our little musicians are so good with their hand signs, and they are able to understand the conductor without any words being said!
A Windy Monday
The winds were very high this Monday, so we had to spend the afternoon in our playground. We used the opportunity to make colourful windmills out of paper and sticks and the children were very good at catching the gusts and enjoyed watching their windmills spin.
Water play
This week we also had a big game of water play. The children were experimenting with different colours, which later turned out to be ‘dangerous potions’!
Stay and play
Our first Stay and Play of the year is approaching and we can’t wait to have some of our little explorer's loved ones visit them in the forest - bookings for stay and play will open next week and all the details of how to book can be found above!
